Two teenage sisters saw Thursday's school bus accident unfold and did they everything they could to help.
Megan and Shelby Mohr were at a stop sign Thursday morning waiting for a school bus to load. Megan says what happened next was the scariest thing she's ever experienced. She says an SUV was going way too fast. So she honked, but the driver didn't have time to stop and he skid.
Megan says she panicked a little at first. But she says she knew what she had to do and she immediately called 9–1–1. Then she rushed over to see if a little boy, who was hurt in the accident, was okay.
"I was shocked to see that he was still alive. The little girl got thrown under the bus and I was shocked that she was still alive too. I just stayed with them until the little boy's parent came and until the paramedics came for the little girl and little boy."
Megan and her family recently moved into their neighborhood and yesterday was the first time she met her neighbors.
