Rapid City police respond to school zone for stabbing

Rapid City police responded to a stabbing call in a school zone Tuesday.

Police spokesperson, Tarah Heupel says the victim was found a 811 Maple Avenue near General Beadle Community School with a laceration to the face and another to the hand.

Heupel says he was highly intoxicated and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two other people at the house where this occurred were also highly intoxicated, so investigation is continuing.

No arrests were made.
