Wild Bill's story retold through "his" eyes


People in Rapid City got to relive one man's gold-rich dreams.
Wild Bill Hickok story was performed by Stephen Branch at the Journey Museum.

He says Wild Bill only spent about six weeks in the Deadwood area starting in the summer of 1876, during the height of the gold rush.

Branch says through he research he is telling Wild Bill's the story the way he would have wanted it.
Branch says his performances are well received by his audience, the next Wild Bill story will be performed on the 22nd of this month.
