You don't need cash or credit cards. Now it just takes a swipe of your finger to buy coffee in Rapid City.
The Nexus Smart Pay system, that uses finger prints, was rolled out at Summer Nights, and now Seattle's Best in Rapid City is the first store to use it.
Wade Lampert, General Manager of the Hotel Alex Johnson, said the shop started using the new technology this week, and so far it's been well received.
"We're just excited to have it, because it's a new convenient way for our customers to pay. When they're busy and on the go, use finger, and out the door they go," Lampert said.
there are about 600 registered Smart Pay users at the School of Mines.
