Number of Labor Day tourists up in Black Hills

This weekend marks the unofficial end to tourism season in the Black Hills. So far it looks like people are taking full advantage of the long weekend.

According to the Rapid City Chamber and Visitors Center, hotels in Rapid City are filling up and many are booked solid this weekend.  And, it's not just Rapid City and the Black Hills, 4.2 percent more people are expected to hit the road or fly over Labor Day Weekend.  Of course more people traveling means big bucks for people in the tourism industry.  The average traveler is expected to spend $804.
