Carne Guisada


1 lb stew meat
1/2 c oil
1 1/2 TB flour
2 c water
1/4 tsp onion salt or 1 TB onion, finely chopped
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 TB bell pepper, diced

Fry meat in oil. When meat gives of juices, drain all but 1 tablespoon oil. Add flour and brown. Add water, onion, garlic salt, cumin, salt, pepper and bell pepper. Cook at low temperature for 20 minutes.

Serve with tortillas.
