Rapid CIty business to create 50 new jobs

A Rapid City business is expanding after 15 years in business.

Advanced Services Inc. or ASI is a  a subsidiary call center for General Electric.

The company celebrated 15 years of service Thursday with raffles, games and cake.

ASI also held an open house inviting the public to inquire about available positions.

Currently ASI Rapid City employs more than 300 employees and is planning to add up to 50 new positions by the end of the year.

"Just looking for some turnout today actually people who are interested in opportunities with us and to celebrate our 15 years and thank the people who have been with us," said Burnell Lutz, VP of ASI.

The Rapid City ASI site was chosen over more than 100 other cities across the nation.
