Three people were arrested Saturday morning after a traffic stop, fight, and accident.
A Rapid City Police officer conducting a traffic stop and making an arrest witnessed a weapon-involved fight in the parking lot of Shotgun Willies on West Main.
As the officer went to break the fight up, an intoxicated driver in a Dodge Challenger crashed into the back of parked police car at 1:14 a.m.
Tuki Tibbitts, 39, Rapid City, was arrested for DUI and failure to stop for an emergency vehicle.
Tibbitts was not injured but a passenger was taken to a near bye hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Victoria McIntosh, 34, Rapid City, had been pulled over and arrested on a warrant charge by the officer.
The woman was sitting in the back of the police car when the accident occurred, she was also taken to a near bye hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One man involved in the fight in the parking lot of Shotgun Willies, Trevor Allen, 38, was arrested for possession of a loaded fire arm - that he did not shoot, possession of a loaded firearm, having a handgun without a permit, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
The police cars emergency lights were on at the time of the accident.
All three incidents happened with 20 minutes of each other.
The officer did call for backup.
