The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally starts in nine days and vendors are stocked and ready to go. And customers are already trying to find the right size.
One week ago marked the first day vendors were finally allowed to use their licenses, and vendors were lining the streets Saturday.
One vendor says sales have been pretty steady so far, but the sales will really pick up the first weekend before the rally, so getting to Sturgis early is important. "It takes awhile to get ready so we want to be ready and organized," said Monique Charvonneau, store manager for Biker Clothing Company.
The cost of licenses went up $50 this year, and next year the formatting for buying a license will change.
License prices will be based on how many square feet a vendor wants.
