Gas prices continue to climb in South Dakota, Nation

No signs of relief at the pump as gas prices continue to skyrocket.

Gas prices rose another four-and-a-half cents in the past week to a state average of $3.70, two cents more than the national average which rose more than three cents a gallon.

Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan expects prices to continue climbing even more for at least one more week.

He says the price of WTI oil continues to rise to levels not seen in quite some time, but believes the worst may be behind us.

Gas prices in South Dakota are more than 13 cents a gallon than they were this day one year ago.
