Starting Monday, three Rapid City roads will look a lot different, as they will be closed down for weeks due to construction work.
32nd street on the North side of Jackson Boulevard will be closed for approximately three weeks to pour concrete and install traffic signals. Contact Sean Hogard, the project coordinator, at 605-939-5347.
Elm Avenue will be closed to through traffic to the North and South at the intersection of Fairmont Boulevard for concrete work. This project is expected to be completed by August 16. Contact Hills Materials Company at 605-394-3300.
Lastly, the intersection of Fourth street at Kansas City Street will be closed to through traffic for utility and reconstruction work. This project is scheduled to be completed within seven weeks. Contact Mainline Contracting, Inc at 605-348-7068.
