Officials at a KOTA Territory college want the public to see what's new on campus before school starts back up again in the fall.
Sheridan College's Tech Tour shows off the Wyoming Simulation Center and the nursing program, along with a glimpse at the brand new Whitney Academic Center, which opens just in time for fall classes.
But the main reason for the tour is to let the public see the technical center before they vote on August 20 on whether or not to give the college tax dollars to expand and renovate the facility.
"So it's important that people see the current state of our center, but not just that. There are a lot more things happening than just that," said marketing coordinator Wendy Smith.
Sheridan College president Paul Young has said the college hasn't asked for taxpayer help in about 40 years.
