Rapid City seeks input on city design

What will Rapid City look like in the future?

The city wants your input.

Rapid City will host three events to introduce "Plan Rapid City," an event that allows residents, members of the business community, students, and other groups to give their input on what they want the city to look like in years to come.

Director of Clarion and Associates, Darcie White, says these events are good because they give the community a say in what they want their city should look like.

"This is really a great chance for the community to come out and talk to us in an informal setting rather than having to come to a formal meeting, share their views and give us a sense of what they want to see over the next, ten, twenty years,"said White.

Two more events are scheduled for tomorrow, the first is from 3:45 PM to 5 PM in the Seattle's Best Coffee meeting room...and the other is from 6:30 PM to 8 PM at the University Center Rapid City.

Anyone who wants to give input is welcome.
