Chinese tourism increases in the Black Hills

Here in the Black Hills, we are used to tourists pouring in during the summer months.

The number of visitors from China in particular has grown so much that the South Dakota Department of Tourism held its first "Chinese Familiarization Tour". The visitors saw classic sights like the Badlands, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

According to the World Tourism Organization, Chinese travelers spent more than $1 billion on tourism last year.
