RC woman charged with child abuse denied contact with her child

A Seventh Circuit judge denies a woman's request to see her child while she's in jail. On Tuesday 38–year–old Angelita Elk Boy's attorney asked Judge Craig Pfeifle if Elk Boy could have contact with her child. The judge denied her request.

Elk Boy is charged with aggravated child abuse for allegedly leaving her 16 month old in her apartment in March. Firefighters had to break down the door and rescue the toddler. Elk boy later appeared at the scene and was arrested for drunk driving.

Elk Boy's next court appearance will be on August 15th.
