Two people were taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital Wednesday after a motorcycle/pickup truck collision.
It happened just after 12:00 p.m. on the Interstate 90 Service Road in Box Elder. South Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Bock says the motorcyclist stopped to watch a billboard being hung. The driver of the pickup didn't see the biker stop and crashed into the rear end.
Bock says the biker was thrown about 20 feet.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The motorcycle driver was cited for an illegal stop.
The pickup truck driver was cited for careless driving.
