Rally preparations/improvements underway at music venues

It's almost that time of year already, when the Black Hills will be rumbling with the engines of hundreds of thousands of motorcycles.
And the big name biker bars of Sturgis are in the home stretch of wrapping up their preparations for what just may be one of the largest Sturgis Motorcycles Rally's ever.

Robert Cappadona, Manager of the Broken Spoke Saloon says they have booked two #1 Artists, leading to a record number of reservations.

And the Buffalo Chip is expecting an explosive rally as well.

Rod Woodruff, Owner of the Buffalo Chip says they have been busy preparing by making large improvements.

He says they have doubled the size of the Crossroads Bar, paved more than 7 acres of new black top along with all their campground roads, and made numerous electrical improvements.

He says this year is going to be one for the books.
"This is going to be the most exciting year we've ever had in the rally. It's our  32nd consecutive rally. Our audience is larger than ever by far. People are coming earlier and staying longer than they ever have, and we have more stuff going on," says Woodruff.

Woodruff says the new highlight this year will be Daredevil Day where they will attempt to break the world record for the longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire.
