There's further confirmation that the School of Mines provides students with the high education at a low price.
According to rankings by Affordable Colleges Online Mines graduates rank fifth on the list to earn at least one million dollars during their careers.
Last year, 98 percent of graduates landed jobs in their field or were going to grad school upon receiving their diploma. School of Mines President, Heather Wilson says its further proof they're doing things right.
"It's yet again another confirmation that the school of mines is doing a great job in educating and preparing leaders in science and engineering and that employers know it," said Wilson.
The average starting salary for the class of 2012 was $62,000.
