A store catered toward the rural lifestyle received a very special award Wednesday.
Runnings on Lacrosse street was presented the Beautification Award by the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce.
The award is in recognition of the efforts the company has made to refurbishing the building formerly occupied by Sam's Club.
Store manager Tom Danson says he is very proud to have received the award and that Runnings had Black Hills flavor in mind for the Rapid City store with it's use of ranching, mining & agricultural themes.
Runnings has 31 stores in 5 states & has been in the new building for just over a year ago after more than 12 years on Haines Avenue.
