The U.S. Chamber of Commerce along with some KOTA Territory business held an event aimed at employing veterans.
The event was called Hiring Our Heroes, a hiring fair for veterans and military spouses.
30 employers showed up to answer questions as well as give resume and job hunting tips to vets looking for jobs.
Since its launch in march 2011 the job fair has been able to help more than 108,000 veterans and military spouses.
Those that attended believe it is a great event.
"I left the army after 25 years, I retired in 2011. I found
out about my job at a hiring heroes event in Portland Oregon,"said Northwestern Regional Associate with Hiring Our Heroes, Phillip Haam.
"Me I haven't done a job application in 20 years so, I
got a year and a half until I retire so it's important to get out there and see
what's open,"said job seeker James Fields
More than 540 Hiring Our Heroes job fairs have been held nationwide.
