Surveys are coming to Sturgis.
The Sturgis City Council approved spending $26,000 to survey Sturgis rally-goers. The idea is to give sponsors a better idea of who they are trying to target.
Christina Steele, Sturgis public information officer, says some of the questions will be, "How old are you?" and "What do you plan to do during rally?"
Steele also says the incentives aren't set, but people will be rewarded for taking the five to ten minute survey, and that the goal of surveying is to increase the number of sponsors. "It will help our sponsorship agents target different sponsors than what we have now," said Steele. "And hopefully grow our sponsorship program moving forward."
The surveying will begin this rally, which starts August 5.
