Global warming and increased forest fires linked?


The fire Near Colorado Springs is the most devastating in the state's history and some climate experts say climate change is a factor.

According to an Associated Press story, Climate experts say big changes are in store for our nations forests as global warming increases.

Areas burned by wildfires are expected to at least double in the next 25 years.

The Federal Government spends roughly 1 billion dollars a year on forest fires.

Last year 9.2 million acres of forest burned, the third largest number on record.
