The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center or Community Transitions as it was once known, celebrated 25 years of service as well as a name change.
The celebration began with a ribbon cutting.
Those who attended the event were given the opportunity to walk around and see what goes on during a typical day.
The center helps rehabilitate those that have suffered brain injuries.
Ron Sasso, Director of the center said the name change comes after so many asked him what community transitions was.
"We have been community transitions and most people when they heard community transitions they would say what's that, well we have changed our name to The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center and people will not say what's that, they will know what we do," said Sasso.
The center serves around 60 people a year.
