It's not rally season yet, but 2,000 bikers have already made their way to the Black Hills.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is hosting there annual national convention at the Deadwood Lodge. The Combat Veterans are a national organization of war vets who share not only their military history, but a passion for riding motorcycles.
A combat veteran Mike Long said, "For me, the best part about this weekend is sitting down and reminiscing, talking to my friends I haven't seen in a long time, meeting our brothers and sisters from all over the country and riding the Black Hills."
There are currently more than 10,000 members in the association striving to raise funds for multiple veteran programs, helping their fellow vets in anyway possible.
The Combat Veterans will be meeting at the National Cemetery, on Friday, for a ceremonial wreath laying to remember those lost in battle.
