All power restored in Spearfish Canyon.
A wind storm Tuesday night knocked out power to about 30 homes between hydroelectric plant number two and Victoria Lane on Highway 14a.
The storm uprooted trees and damaged numerous houses.
Butte Electric Operations Manager Dave Zwetzig says two power poles had to be replaced which meant some homeowners were without power until 3am Wednesday afternoon.
Zwetzig says crews are still patrolling the Burno Gulch area (which is very rugged) to make sure the area has been fully restored.
Crews are cleaning up in the Northern Hills after a severe storm causes power outages.
The wind storm knocked out power in Spearfish Canyon around 9pm Tuesday night.
The outage largely affected the area between hydroelectric plant number two and Victoria Lane on Highway 14A.
Uprooted trees and damage to numerous houses was also reported.
John Lee, General Manager of Butte Electric, is optimistic that power will be restored shortly, "We're going through the canyon making sure that all of our wires are put back correctly before we can get some power on. We hope that they will bear with us and we wish them well in their clean up recovery as well."
Power has been restored to the Livingston addition and should return to the Burno Gulch area by sometime Thursday.
