Rapid City Library director takes new job

Greta Chapman has resigned her position as Director of Rapid City Public Library effective in 30 days.

Chapman told the library board of directors that she has accepted position as President/CEO of the South Dakota Hall of Fame Museum.

Chapman has been the library director since 1998.

According to a city news release, Chapman informed the Board at the beginning of the year that she would be seeking to make a transition in her employment. She recently completed her master's in public administration which includes nonprofit management.
