With spring weather comes the annual headache known as construction season.
In Sturgis, Lazelle Street is getting a major makeover that has shut down roughly a mile stretch of road through town.
The street will be re paved and renovated in time for the Sturgis Rally.
The construction has created a slight inconvenience for local businesses who are used to car traffic passing by.
"It's certainly slowed the foot traffic coming through the door. We've had a hard time being able to get our customers to park because our trucks that deliver our nursing material have had to take the detour and it hasn't always necessarily been the most convenient way for them to get to us," said Amy Conover of Rockingtree Nursery in Sturgis.
