Wyoming students win major scholarship

A national scholarship program is honoring multiple KOTA Territory students in Wyoming.  A press release states the Daniels Fund placed 21 Wyoming high school seniors in the Daniels Scholarship Program.  The students showed exceptional character, leadership, and commitment to giving back to the community.

"We provide Daniels Scholars with resources, encouragement, and support far beyond financial assistance to help them earn a college degree," said Linda Childears, president and CEO of the Daniels Fund.

Daniels Scholars may attend any accredited nonprofit college or university in the United States and the program covers the expenses that remain after all other scholarships and financial aid have been applied. Two students from Gillette, Noe Torres-Chacon and Tiana Terrell, were selected along with Casie Rosalez, Stevie Harbour, and Rhyan Gessner from Sheridan.
