Air passengers in Rapid City experience delays at larger airports

The sequester is impacting travelers at larger airports, with many seeing long delays.  Now, it's trickling down to smaller airports, like Rapid City Regional.
While the delays don't originate here, travelers are certainly feeling the cuts while en route to their final destinations.  Many of the passengers here say they've missed their connecting flights in places like Denver and Minneapolis.  One man said he hasn't had any issues with smaller airports, but expects delays elsewhere.  "A person that I work with that has been flying a lot, he bought a second flight for every connecting flight he had and I think he missed every connection," Doug Williams, a passenger from Indianapolis said.

Airport Director Cameron Humphries does not expect the delays to directly impact Rapid City Regional Airport.
