Two annual Sheridan Earth Day events joined forces this year.
Vendors for the Earth Day Festival and Local Foods Expo were setup side by side Saturday in the Sheridan College Golden Dome.
The dozens of booths aimed at teaching people about the area's eco-friendly resources, locally produced food, and parks and recreation opportunities.
"It's better for you. It helps sustain the local economy. It helps the farmers and the ranchers," said Sackett's Market owner Paul Haworth about local food.
"Over 100 acres of natural open areas; very important because they preserve the natural world and they also allow the opportunity for residents of the community and visitors to get out and enjoy the outdoors," said Sheridan City Parks Manager Chuck Carbert about the city's parks.
Earth Day festivities continue Tuesday night in the WYO Theater with the Banff Mountain Film Festival.
