Service dog goes missing before Rapid City storm

Posted:

Just before the record breaking snow storm, a Rapid City woman lost someone near and dear to her. Her dog Lily went missing on Sunday.

Paula Reynolds says that the one year old Cockapoo isn't used to the snow and cold temperatures. she was last seen near 38th and West Main Street wearing a red collar with a bell.

The dog is more than just a pet. For Reynolds, Lily is also a service dog.

"I have diabetes and twice in the last year when my sugar got too low what she does is I'll be laying in bed and when my sugar gets too low she lays right above my head and she'll keep tapping it," said Reynolds, "I need her back."

Reynolds is offering a $100 reward to anyone who helps bring Lily home. If you have any information, contact Reynolds through her Facebook page, Bring My Lily Home.
