Archery tournament draws hundreds of students

More than 600 students from across the state are in Rapid City to show off their archery skills.
The students, which hail from 38 schools are here for the 2013 South Dakota Archery Championship.

Curt Robertson an archery specialist and volunteer for the event, says registration numbers for the event have more than doubled in two years, "It doesn't matter if you're big or strong or tall in archery. As long as you have patience and are willing to put in the time and practice for archery you're going to be a great Archer. I think you'll definitely see some middle school students out shoot some high school students today."
Both teams and individuals were awarded trophies at the event, which ended Saturday night.
