One Rapid City hotel is all green. The Adoba Eco Hotel is undergoing multimillion dollar renovations that are environmentally friendly.
From the murals, to chairs, to carpeting, it's all sustainable. The furniture is made locally. Most of it is made within seven miles of the hotel. The murals do not have heavy metals or chlorine in them.
Adrienne Pumphrey, Global Head of the Adoba Brand says it's important to be sustainable. "Everything that we do, we try to look through the lens of sustainability. We think it's critical to the environment," said Pumphrey.
The renovations will be complete by May, just in time for tourism season.
