KOTA Territory students met up in Rapid City Thursday to help curb destructive life choices.
More than 200 students from 16 KOTA Territory schools will be at Camp Rapid's Duke Corning Auditorium through Friday, for S.A.D.D.'s annual spring conference.
The event is co–hosted by Youth and Family Services and features activities, guest speakers, and important lessons.
But for the students it offers a great opportunity to network and improve local chapters.
"Coming to this conference, for me was just a chance to get out and see what other S.A.D.D. groups do and see if we can change what our S.A.D.D. chapter does or just anything that we can improve on or anything we can help anyone else improve on, " said Rowdy Mauch, a Newell High School junior.
The super hero themed "Discover Your Power", was this year's theme.
