Drunk man fights with tree, arrested by RCPD

Posted:

A Rapid City resident heard strange noises outside his home on Minuteman Drive last night. When he went to check it out, he found that a drunk man had climbed into one of his trees and appeared to be fighting the tree.

The resident was able to talk the man into coming down, but then the man refused to leave.

When police arrived, the subject was uncooperative, kicked the resident, and threatened the officer.

Richard Dubray, age 25 of Rapid City, was arrested for disorderly conduct and threatening law enforcement.
