Gown Town makes dreams come true

For most teenage girls Prom is a right of passage, a time to glam up and make memories.

However, many can't afford that perfect dress.

But, thanks to one event, they can have their gowns, and wear them too.

The Rushmore Mall has teamed up with a local radio station and Audra's Bridal in Rapid City for Gown Town.

High school girls had the chance to come find that perfect dress for free, so they can have the night they deserve.

"I think it's really good because a lot of people can't afford to go get the dress they want, or if they found a dress, there's a bunch here they can just come and get what they need," says Courtney King in town from Newell High School.

And if you missed this Gown Town, don't worry, there is another one on April 13th from noon to five PM.
