Recognition is the sixth innovation award for RiseSmart, highlighting the company’s significant impact on the historically traditional outplacement industry.
San Jose, California (PRWEB) March 08, 2013
RiseSmart, the leader in next-generation outplacement services, has been named a 2013 WhatWorks® Award winner for Delivering Innovation. The WhatWorks® Awards are the research-driven awards included in Bersin by Deloitte’s recent acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Bersin & Associates LLC. RiseSmart was one of only 10 companies selected in the Delivering Innovation category among heavy-hitters in the HR industry, including Glassdoor, oDesk and Jobvite.
Winners were chosen by Bersin & Associates LLC from hundreds of applicants and include industry leaders in business processes, consulting, financial services, food products, government, hospitality, information technology, insurance, media and software. Bersin & Associates LLC conducted the awards program in cooperation with Human Resource Executive® magazine.
“It is an honor to receive such high praise from the established and respected research organization, ” said Sanjay Sathe, founder and CEO of RiseSmart. “This acknowledgment provides further proof that companies recognize the value of cloud-based outplacement solutions and other services RiseSmart offers.”
RiseSmart provides an alternative to the outdated and ineffective outplacement approaches of traditional firms, which fail to place primary focus on the most critical mission: securing a new job for the individual in transition. RiseSmart utilizes a proprietary technology platform, proven methodologies, and one-on-one support to help employers with their workforce strategies and displaced employees with their career strategies. RiseSmart is currently placing transitioning individuals in new jobs 61 percent faster than the national average as reported by federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
“The WhatWorks Awards showcase real solutions that demonstrate measurable real-world success to challenges that inevitably arise in a world where change is the only constant,” said David Shadovitz, editor, Human Resource Executive magazine. “We are honored to present the WhatWorks Awards to the global community in our role as the premier publication focused on strategic issues in HR, talent and learning.”
Additional recognition of RiseSmart’s innovation in the HR industry has come from Gartner Inc., which named RiseSmart a 2012 Cool Vendor in Human Capital Management Software. The 2012 Best in Biz Awards named RiseSmart the “Most Innovative Company of the Year Silver Winner” and LAROCQUE recognized RiseSmart as one of the 20 HR Companies to Watch in 2012. In both 2011 and 2012, RiseSmart was named “Most Innovative Company of the Year” by the American Business Awards and “Innovative Company of the Year” by the Golden Bridge Awards.
Winners will be recognized at a Bersin by Deloitte research conference, IMPACT 2013: The Business of Talent, April 22-25. In addition, HR, learning and talent practitioners from winning organizations – past and present – will participate in panel discussions and present case studies on a wide range of topics.
