In the past two years they've raised $107,000 for childhood
illness research. And this year is no different.
Q92.3, She106.3, Eagle Country, and X-Rock are holding the
third annual Black Hills Cares for Kids Radiothon.
The four stations are sharing stories about what St. Jude's Children's
Research Hospital has done for kids, and they're
asking listeners to partner with them.
At St. Jude, they treat the sickest of the sick: patients
that local hospitals can no longer help.
"We are affecting the local community everyday because the
research being done at St. Jude is shared freely to the cancer hospitals here
and other pediatric hospitals throughout the country," said Katy Sunnaborg from
St. Jude's Children's Research
The Radiothon runs 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The number to call to donate is 1-800-303-1135.
