Rapid City firm selected for trade mission to China

Posted:

The Governor announced Tuesday a special trade mission to China to help expand South Dakota exports.

One of the 15 businesses selected to accompany Daugaard on the mission is Rapid City based RPM and associates.

RPM specializes in the manufacture and restoration of parts for coal firing power plants throughout the world.

Although the company has some history in doing business within china, both importing and exporting, RPM founder Rob Mudge  sees this as a tremendous opportunity to expand his business, "Well, I think anytime you can go to an emerging market and have an opportunity to sell your wares or your goods & services there, I think that just gives you opportunity to grow your business"

RPM was the only West River business selected to go on the trip.
