Black Hills beauty to be showcased on Emmy award winning program

The spotlight is on cowboy culture and the Black Hills Saturday morning, for an episode of the Emmy award winning show, 'Born To Explore'.
The education- adventure program, featuring host and world traveler Richard Wiese will focus on last year's Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup as well as the patriotic history of Black Hills.

About 14,000 people from all over the world attended the Buffalo Roundup, and South Dakota tourism leaders consider the event a big boost to the tourism industry.

The program also explores all avenues of the 'American West', including cowboy poetry, natural wildlife and Native American culture.

"To see over 1,000 head of buffalo being driven across the rolling prairies by cowboys and cowgirls on horseback is a sight everyone should experience at least once in his lifetime," said Wiese.

The program will air Saturday morning, February 16th at 8 AM on KOTA territory TV.
