Rapid City has Mount Rushmore, statues of the Presidents, and now a tribute to Lincoln himself.
Joe Bodeson, Manager at Eye Glass Studio has numerous pieces of Lincoln memorabilia on display.
Bodeson says Lincoln can still be looked to for inspiration even, overcoming many failures and defeats.
His collection has copies of the late President's handwriting, a piece of a flag from his funeral train, and even strands of his hair, which was common to have in days before photography.
"I'll sometimes get people's attention by saying, 'I have a part of a dead President's body in my basement,' and people are kind of taken back a little," says Bodeson, laughing it off.
Tuesday is Lincoln's 204th birthday. Bodeson says he'll leave his display out for a couple of weeks, anyone is welcome to stop in.
