Trial date set for Rapid City attempted murder suspect

A trial date is set for a Rapid City man accused of shooting a stranger in the head at a house party last April.
 
Kelsey Reavis, 20, will have a three-day jury trial starting on June 4th in front of Judge Craig Pfeifle.

Before that time, the state has  to share some audio tape evidence provided by a private investigator with the defense council. 
 
Reavis is accused of shooting Christopher Levin, 28, with a .45 caliber pistol at a house party in April.

If convicted, he faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.
