The February report for the Black Hills snow course shows that all of the sites are reporting below normal snowcover for this time of year. The percent of average is a 30-year average for the season up to this point, with 100% being normal.
Most of the sites report between 10 and 20 inches of snow on the ground, with liquid equivalents mainly between 1 and 3.5 inches. The snow that fell around the Black Hills on Wednesday and Thursday of this week is not counted in these totals.
