Cold temperatures were accompanied by heavy snowfall in parts of the Northern Black Hills and Northeast Wyoming.
People in Sheridan fought with ten new inches of snow Thursday morning as they tried to get to work. And it continues to fall.
The heavy snow means a busy day for snow plows and tow trucks, as many drivers became stuck or had difficulty trying to maneuver on the slick roads.
"Getting stuck, wrecks, crashes, that about sums it up. You got to drive a little slower for the conditions and not go so darn fast and expect the brakes to stop you," said snow plower Josh Krenzelok.
Sheridan city officials ask downtown businesses to sweep snow off their sidewalks to the street before closing Thursday night. The city plans to clean the streets at midnight.
