Lion harvest continues at slow pace

So far, this year's mountain lion season continues to crawl along at a snail's pace.

Twenty six lions have been taken; 15 of those females. The season ends when a total of 100 lions are killed, or 70 females, or the season's end date of March 31st - whichever comes first.

The last mountain lion reported to have been killed was January 24th, when an 80-pound female was harvested in Lawrence County.
