After a mostly mild winter, Sheridan saw its first major snow storm in weeks Sunday night.
Six inches of snow fell overnight. Many people are actually relieved to see the snow. This winter has been unusually dry, leaving some to worry about the snow pack and what might happen with the spring water supply.
But the snowfall did complicate the morning commute for workers.
"A lot of streets hadn't been plowed yet. And parking down on main street, where we park, hadn't been plowed. So we had to walk through a lot of pretty heavy snow," said Nadine Gale of Sheridan.
West of Sheridan saw even more snow fall, as Dayton received nine inches. Heading south to Story, there is seven inches of snow.
