Noem gives Farm Bill update at Stock Show

U.S. House Representative Kristi Noem talked with Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo goers about the Farm Bill Saturday afternoon.
She says producers deserve certainty so they can plan for the future, she's hoping the house will hammer out a bill soon.

"I think a lot of people are curious about the Farm Bill because it didn't get reauthorize last year. So I'm going to let them know where we are in that process, that we're going to start hearings again, that through the appropriations process I'm going to look for funding for disaster programs. It's a conversation I haven't had the chance to have with a lot folks west river yet, and hopefully today a lot will come and we'll get to do that," says Noem.

During the update Noem talked about other issues such as federal spending, tax increases, and the death tax.
