Sheridan teens threaten neighborhood

Sheridan Police say five teenagers terrorized the city's business district area late Tuesday afternoon.

A press release states police received multiple reports of a young males pointing a handgun from a white Plymouth passenger car at people and businesses.

Officers initiated a high risk traffic stop on 14th Street and found five juveniles, aged 14 to 16, with a black Airsoft-type handgun.  The orange tipped barrel of the Airsoft gun was either painted black or scraped off to resemble a real firearm.

Upon investigation, the five teenagers were cited for Breach of Peace and released to their parents.
