South Dakotans pay more at the pump this week

Fuel prices are on the rise in South Dakota and across the nation.

In the last week the average price of gas has increased by more than 10 cents; pushing the state's average price at the pump over the three dollar mark, to $3.11.

While the national average increased by less than one cent per gallon this last week, South Dakotans are still paying less than the average American and less than they paid for gas this time last year.

The cheapest fuel in the country can currently be found in Laramie, Wyoming, where gas prices have fallen to$2.35 per gallon.
