Members of a South Dakota family are safe after their trailer home went up in flames Thursday causing a total loss.
Fire chief Joel Behlings says the fire took place around 2:00 p.m. at the Triple T Trailer Court one mile west of Custer.
Behlings says John and April Miller and their two young daughters weren't home at the time. He says the home owners noticed smoke coming from their trailer when they returned home from the grocery store.
The Black Hills Area Red Cross has provided the family with food, clothing and a place to stay.
There's no word on the cause of the fire.
